With all the attention the pickup got, Shorty was jealous. Today my stepson and I spent some quality driveway time. Bath, clay, Four Star UPC & UPP, Clearkote metal polish on the shiny stuff (plus Poorboys wheel sealant on the rims), Poorboys BnB and Trim Restorer on the black stuff.

looks awesome. great job. Just not as good as the truck, but nothing looks better then a clean black truck. What type of breaks did you upgrade too?

I love UPP, and I swear GM's pewtrid (ok, pewter) finish was made for it. :)

The brakes are Brembos - their 'Turismo' kit...14.4" rotors, fairly aggressive pads, and stainless lines. The cheap way to better performance with large wheels, although I'd love to have four-piston calipers.

They look awesome. What the miniumum tire size for them?

Thanks! Actually, the wheels aren't too bad. And that's coming from my stepson, who wouldn't hesitate to complain about hard work. :)

The Brembos, unfortunately, require a 20" wheel. There are some others on the market that will work with 18's - Baer, Powerslot, and SSBC come immediately to mind.

I have to get some of that Bold N Bright. Seems to have a nice balance..not to oily looking, not too matte.

UPP's popularity does seem to have waned here. I definitely still like it--so very slick.
