'03 Red Lexus SC430

Great job, I just love that car.

What did you use on the red?

Althought it looks a little shorter than I remember:rolleyes:

I think your pictures got a little compressed.

This is what I did to prep prior to Zaino.

Washed car with Dawn (strip wax/oils)

Clay

Wash Z7

Polish: 3M PIII-MG followed by Menzerna/FP (Swirls were not that bad-however, picture looks better on Web than close up TBH with you, needs more FP polishing)

Wash: Dawn (remove oils from polish)

Dry

Wash Z7 (remove any Dawn film)

Z6 prep

ZFX/Z5: 3 coats one day (garage, no driving) Z6 between coats

ZFX/Z5: 3 coats again following day Z6 between coats(garaged)

ZFX/Z2: 3 coats Z6 between each. DONE!!!

Maintained with Z6 prior to and after driving car.

Any slight feel of dirt, off to wash with Z7 and dry with CWB and Waffel Weave MF. Follow that with Z6, wipedown with CBT or DFTowel.

Deanski

No offense intended, Deanski, but you might want to look into a new camera or some new graphics software.

How's this:

Mmmph:

None taken and thanks for the constructive criticism!

At least you didn't hammer me with a umteen page reply as someone else did to me in another post regarding a well known sealant other than Zaino. Hint hint, nudge nudge, say no more!

Yea, I ran it through MGI Photosuite that came with the Sony DSC-75. Not the best software, and trying to upload some seem to get hosed a bit as they looked OK on the laptop.

Oh well, pretty embarrassing seeing that I'm in the IT field, but handle only network/server issues.

I took them quickly too, as I was running low on battery. Next time I'll charge it to full on a clean stick.

Or, it just could be the car looks like crap too:p

Deanski

Deanski, car looks great!

How's this one?

Very nice! No more Mini:p Gee I have to remove that fun house lens!

I saved them at 640x640. Too bad as the originals look nice.

Wonder what the rear shot looks like?

To be honest, although pics make it look really shiny, I still have to remove some light swirls I didn't get on the last pass as I was pressed for time (wife nagging) on those parts.

Tried as a test Souveran over the Zaino, does warm it up, but I still liked the newer Zaino w/o the wax over it, so no wax, just Zaino.

Deanski
