03 Maserati Cambiocorsa Coupe detail

mike looks great.lets hope we can get the blackbird even close to that I just loaded the products up w/p.c. and yes Im bringing the Makita.:D will see you at 9:00 a.m.

When I detail this car I purposely leave my schedule blocked for this detail and only this detail. :D It's one of those cars that I can lose track of time on when working and makes me once again realize just how lucky I am to do something I absolutely love for a living!!



JDookie I used the Meg's 8006 polishing pad (the yellow one) with the DACP. This is my workhorse pad type...I rarely use a cutting pad with my PC (just on heavily oxidized paints). The VM was applied by hand on all the exterior glass.



tdekany I am not sure what pic you are referring to but I did not use a cutting pad on this car. The swirls sometimes get pretty bad but the #83 and polishing pad combo is the most aggressive I have to go to get rid of them.

Scott you are damn skippy about waiting for the call! It's so funny...now that I've been detailing the car for a while...he just leaves me alone in his garage and let's me rub myself all over the car!! :o I've told him more than once that that is MY car once a month for three hours.

No I haven't taken it out for a spin (he's offered but I declined every time...I don't need that liability) but I have gone with the owner for a quick blast up and down the street. It is a VERY quick car but what got me is how smooth it is. You can barely feel the upshift's and downshift's....just smooth as silk power delivery :xyxthumbs
 
doesnt that car have the engine from the 360 modena in it? im almost certain it does... lucky u.. goin for a ride in it...
 
NavindraLR I am pretty sure it is a bored and stroked version of the Modena 360 engine. It sounds just sick when he first fires it up!! :xyxthumbs
