zax- all these guys are very nice guys with soo much experience and knowledge about detailing. The forum is designed for car detailing not car performance (im not saying that you shouldnt have posted this here, im just saying that most guys here enjoy an amazing detail over an exotic) ,however there is a performance part of the forum. I am not busting your chops in any way, im just trying to keep the piece.
Nice car tho! Even though im not a horsepower guy or speed guy i always appreciate the time and skill it takes to make a car like that. Do you track it at all? I hope you never go up against a porsche or a "handling car" on some S'es or a back road with a lotta turns. lol :sosad :bestwish :laugh:

I really appreciate your post, and I know there are many people that have a wealth of knowledge here. I have lurked for years but never joined, oh well. My car is set up for both, I have a set up for the strip, which I rarely use and one for autocross. I love exotics just as much as anyone!

Yea! thats a good way to do it. I guess all ways of motor-sports are great! but i just dont see the lust of beating my engine down an open road just to beat one guy. The extremely fun parts with racing (road courses) is when you have a guy to run against. Quick (and short) story: We used to race against john fernandez and a few other pro racers (2 of the guys in the mazda commercials). My dad was in 2nd at an SCCA (or neon challenge race). The 1st corner of the race it was fernandez on the inside and my dad on the outside. Fernandez looks at my dad and my dad looks him (no hans devices at this time), my dad smiles at him. it was the number 2 for the brake line and they hadt breaked. Fernandez SLAMMMS on the breaks and my dad outbreaks him. My dad ended up winning that race because he was on the rain line (and it was raining). :2thumbs:

I think you should not jump to conclusions so fast and if you're going to call names like that you need to keep it in the PMs.:rules:
If you've really been lurking on this board for "years" then you should know Autopians are pretty good guys......think about it....why would someone who doesn't even know you just flame you out of the blue for no reason at all?:think2

Roanoke. If ya do, come by, ile let you take my Porsche 914 up the local mountain. I would say we should take the 911 but its guna be in and out of the shop being restored for almost all of next spring and summer.
