'03 Ferrari F360 Spyder detail

1 Clean WS6

Detailing Rottweiler
Hey all!!

I hope spring is treating everyone to some good detailing! :2thumbs:

This past week I got to play with this gorgeous piece of Italian automotive art. It belongs to a long time client of mine who owned a '97 F355 Spyder prior to this '03 F360. He is the second owner and the car shows a tad over 11K on the odo. Overall it was in good condition with a fair bit of marring (most likely from an improper hand washing process) and some old dried wax in a few crevices.

I've been using a Flex XC3401 almost exclusively since March and have been absolutely thrilled with the machine. When I get some more time I'll post up a proper review of it. In the meantime I would absolutely recommend the Flex...simply a fantastic tool. Think of it more as a de-tuned rotary rather than a PC on steroids.

Below is a description of products and process used for this detail.

Enjoy,

Mike

Wash with Meg's Gold Class shampoo

Polish with Optimum Compound using a LC orange pad and my Flex set at 3-6.

Polish with Optimum Polish using a LC white pad and my Flex set at 3-6.

Seal with Pinnacle Liquid Souveran by hand with a foam pad.

Looks great as usual mike.

Glad to hear you like the 3401. I'm still on the fence about going with the 3403 or the 3401...

Nice work as always Mike! You're going to be one cool dad man! I bet that kid will have some dumbells in his/her hands at an early age. :D

How was the clear on this car? Relatively hard or on the softer side?

Looks great as usual mike. And congrats on the baby on the way. Looks like life is good!!

Glad to hear you like the 3401. I'm still on the fence about going with the 3403 or the 3401...

*I deleted my first post since I got in the way. Sorry Mike*
