This thread is so off topic, I'm gonn throw in another curve. Since you mentioned Canada, I am going to Quebec City tomorrow for 5 nights. I was wondering if any of the Canadians lurking around here can give me an idea how the weather is now. I live in South Florida, so anything under 70 F and I will have to pack my thermal underwear and lambswool mittens! Also, how do you say "Don't shoot!" in French??
A car cover at night may help. You may also try a battery powered night light or lamp in your vehicle. Spiders usually set up shop when it is dark. I have read somewhere that they do not repsond to scents.

I will try the cover. I just don't want to resort to Raid in my vehicle.
This past weekend I detailed a very nice 2003 BMW 530i in Sterling Grey Metallic. I have washed this car before and was happy to have the opportunity to detail it. The car sees a good bit of long distance driving, so the goal was to improve the car's appearance and protection for the winter driving season (well.... as wintery as it gets down here in the South).
Since this was not going to be a multi-step, 20+ hour full paint correction, it was a great chance for me to work with Meguiars Ultimate Compound polish. I have played with this polish a little on my truck and have been happy with the results. I would place the cut between M83 DACP and M105. The most appealing thing of Ultimate Compound is it finishes down very nice with little dusting. I used it with a LC orange classic flat pad and a PC, an effective and user friendly combo.
