I'm off to the Police Memorial in Toronto in 1/2 hour, so I gotta make this one quick. Here's a car I did for a co-worker that has 106,000 km on it. Not bad for a 6 year old car. It was in pretty good shape too. Unfortunately it was raining when she delivered it and raining when she picked it up so the pics aren't the greatest. I quoted 8 hours but took 10..I gotta get better at estimating. I tried just using DG 501 but needed something stronger. I didn't finish this bad boy up until 0330 hrs..I was tired.
The Process:
Wheels done with SC using ez brush.
Wells done with 303 cleaner.
Tires with ARO.
Wheels cleaned subsequently with XMT 360.
Wheels sealed with JS 109.
Tires dressed with DP gel.
Wells dressed with Crappy Tire dressing.
Paint compounded with UCCL, wool pad with rotary
Paint then cleaned with DG 501, using rotary, white pad removed with Cookie Monster mf.
DG 601 applied by hand.
DG 105 applied/removed by hand.
Trim done with black again.
Mustang emblem done with DG 501.
Misc touch ups (deep gouges improved, not perfect by any means)
Glass done with IG.
Door jams done with ONR.
Interior plastic dressed with 303 Aerospace.
Carpets vacuumed/shampoo'd (with mandatory wide stripes).

(I buggered up the pic trying to remove the plate..the hood is not rotary damage, LOL)
