I'm running out of things to say to ya. You're obviously very skilled, and if those pics are only your second try....I really look forward to the pics you'll take in the future. Nice work.

Wow, hard to believe Nikon doesn't have a RAW editor.

They do. It's called Capture NX, around $120 and has a 30 day free trial period.

Chris, the d40 is a great camera for the $$. I also picked up a Nikon dSLR last week. I can see the learning curve is steep to yield these amazing pictures that we see from these cams. I've already read the manual twice and find the number of settings and possible shooting parameters absolutely bewildering.

You may consider one of the supplemental manuals you can purchase for it that will do a much better job explaining the controls than the owner's manual does. Good luck with it.

My GF bought me two books last year on taking pictures with a DSLR :) I probably wont start shooting in RAW until I feel I have gotten most of the correct ways to take pictures down comfortably.

Great work as always Chris! The owner should be :woohoo: now.

The BBS VZ's look pretty good on that C32.

Where did you order your foamed wool from?

The owner just literally picked up the car and was STUNNED. Always makes me feel good when they reeeaallly appreciate the results.

Anyway the foamed wool... I honestly do not remember! lol I think maybe autogeek.

Chris,

Lookin' good my man.

The Meg wheel brighter really kick a** huh?

I have used it for while now. Its pretty strong stuff. You have to be careful on the type of finish certain wheels have with this stuff.

Excellent job Chris.

After polished, the red sure looks deep. You can tell a major difference in the depth of the red in the before and afters.

As always, great job on the wheels too....

beautiful paint work blue, i dont work on many mercs anymore but if i do it seems everyones running their rotary's over 1500 on them, is it much needed would you say blue?

Actually I find myself running 1800rpms as it seems to be "optimal" with the polishes I work with and better results. I have only gone over 2000rpms maybe once or twice on certain cars.

thanks for the input blue, ive polished my own mb but strictly w pc. i use hc and ec often and figured itd be more worthy @ higher rpms.

btw that red is just beautiful bro!
