02 Electron Blue WS6 (firebird transam) Klasse + S100 **56k warning**

i guess it depends on the car, but being that i looked into it amongst the f-body community, the general concensous was that it would handle worse than if on qa1 shocks w/ high perf springs or something equal. Not to mention the ride might not be as good.

I have a 02 SS that I ordered with the Bilstein Suspenion package. It drops the car down and loses the 4X4 look and handles great. In addition to the Bilstein package, I have added SFC, G-Load brace and a STB. I know SLP still sells the package aftermarket. However, if you do not like SLP products you could try http://www.bmrfabrication.com/. I have heard good things about them, and soon I should be ordering a set of relocation brackets, and control arms.

like i said, i wasn't worried so much about the handling, obviously the handling would be better if dropped, if done on bags the comfort level may not be that good. That is just what i read in regards to f-bodies. I would really like to drop it, but my front fascia lip just clears curbs now and the ground, i would more than likely have to remove it or just expect to smash into the ground and break it off one day. I was more worried about the 1/4 times, weight transfer wouldn't be as good.

qwik - where did you get that lower front fascia and how hard was it to install. I'd like to get one for my firehawk.

Yeah, alot of guys have problems with them, but I think Wings West makes an extended air deflector.....I can't imagine how much that thing must scrape! :shocked :scared

i got my peice for around 200 something shipped. It was through a member Gp at ls1.com a while ago. Don't remember the guy, do some searching on ls1 or ls1tech.com you'll find where to get it cheap. WW does include a lower front air dam to grab the air, it is longer than the stock peice and does scrap on everything, but it has still stood the test of time and dips.

Looks good! Doesn't seem to have the typical GM orange peel. I always top my Klasse with P21S. Both good combos, nearly identical.
