1 Clean WS6
Detailing Rottweiler
Hello all!!
It's been a while since I have gotten my PC on a 4th generation f-body (other than my own). With the annual f-body "Gathering" car show (www.fbodygathering.com) quickly approaching I should be getting my hands on a few more of these LS1 and LT1 powered beasts. I know for a fact that I'll be detailing GMMG ZL-1 Supercar #6 soon. :up
In 2002 the last Camaro rolled off the Ste. Therese assembly line and this package was GM's way of saying "so long" to 35 years of Camaro history. In typical GM fashion the package was nothing more than some decals, rims and interior pieces. No LS6...no big brakes...no 18" rims...just some stickers.
This particular 35th SS is a 6-speed convertible optioned with just about every option on the SLP checklist. Sporting a scant 6K on the odo the car was in excellent shape. Some very minor swirling was about as bad as it got.
Enjoy,
Mike
The detail:
Wash with Meg's Gold Class shampoo
Clay with Clay Magic's clay bar using Meg's #34 as a lube.
Polish with Meg's #80 using a Meg's 8006 pad and my PC set at 5.
Polish/Glaze with Pinnacle's Paintwork Cleansing Lotion using a Meg's 9006 pad and my PC set at 5.
Seal with Souveran by hand with a foam applicator.
