Whats the car in the background in the garage? It's not the M, is that his wife's SC?

Outstanding, Mike, outstanding. I'm really glad that those body shoppers realized they needed help (especially after what they did to me)- and I hope they realize what they got is more than help, it's the best dayam detailer in the SouthEast.

Hope to see you soon- my car needs some lovin'!

Great details. Did you find the Black Sapphire Metallic paint very soft on the BMW. I have done 3 SBM M5s so far and all of them have the softest paint I have ever seen. All were heavily marred from the dealer and buffed out well after a cuple passes with an orbital. But within a couple of weeks, they are showing signs of swirling again! Amazing to me how soft the BMW has gotten over the psat couple of years. The three cars are at the top of my BMW gallery... http://www.automotivespecialist.net/as-bmw.html. I am intersted to hear if your client has a similair swirl issue in the future as well.

That guy made a GREAT choice on color, I've personally seen an M3 sporting Carbon Black Metallic...when the sun hits it turns blue, it's insane.

OK, so I didn't read everyone else's comments, so even if it's not Carbon Black Metallic, the car still looks good.

Here you go: 2 of them carbon black BMWs I take care of regularly.

Mike,

AWESOME work. No need to thank me for the referral, your work speaks loudly enough for you. I am just glad that you two could work together to get a deal that worked for both of you. I saw that you got to see the TT Lexus as well (maybe that was in another thread...), that this is nothing but bad!

I'd be interested in hearing about this as well. My 325 is Jet Black, but my Z4 is Sapphire Black Metallic. I'm hoping to mount my 18" wheels in the Z this week and have it detailed before the end of the month (actually, I'll likely get both done - the 3 has had a rough winter). If that's an issue, I'd want to warn whoever I use.

WOW!!!! :thx again all for the compliments.

T.C. absolutely 110% yes...very soft. That is how I wound up with this car in the first place. Combine a dark color with soft clear and add some dealer jockies to the mix = marr city. I wiped down the car with Meg's #34 between each panel and each polish step then once again after the whole car was done just to make ultra sure no polishing residue or dust was present. Even the slightest bit of dust would marr the paint if not removed.

SouthFlaGT it might be??? The car wasn't at his home...he said it was having a built turbo 400 transmission installed. If you look in the background of the first two pics of the M5 you can see one of the magazine features on the SC hung up on the wall.

Mike: I know you've heard it from many people, but again awesome work all around. Your work is consistently top notch :xyxthumbs

Candyland is right; what a sweet garage setup and those cars are awesome. I can only dream and hope that I can swing a sweet garage setup like that, wow that sounds like a lottery commercial :D

I'm also glad to hear that you say TS deepens blacks but doesn't mute them; sounds like just the thing for my NBP RSX as I have a new jar waiting for use ;)
