Hello everyone! I had the day off school today so I decided to detail my dads truck. It has never gotten a deep polishing to remove all the of the scratches that are on the truck. IT was in really bad shape when I started and I would say is about 80% better now. I will have to break out the touchup paint this spring to fix all of the down-to-metal scratches.


Process:
Wash with pressure washer & TOL bubble bath
Clay with meguiars last touch 1:1 as lube
optimum hyper compound , light cut 7.5" orange lc pad @1500 rpm
menzerna po85rd, finishing 7.5" black lc pad @1500 rpm
wolfgang deep gloss paint sealant
OCW x2

#425 on windows and chrome
Hyper dressing 2:1 on wheels, trim, and wheel wells
pb wheel sealant on rims

What is the deal with all you Northerner's wearing sandals. It's winter in MN.

How long have you been using Wolfgang sealant? That is not one of your regulars ...is it?

The sandles are comfy!! Wolfgang was used for the first time yesterday. I dont know how often it will be taken out again, I was expecting more.

Interesting but not surprising. I know how hard you are to satisfy. You are a hard sell. But you sure know how to make a shine!!
