BOSS BEST IN SHOW SYSYEM

Bull6791- I wish we had somehow responded to your initial Q differently...this has sorta gone down a rabbit-hole with all the different stuff being discussed but nothing actually getting done.

We've never discussed the topics I consider truly important here:
- what are your facilities (building/lighting/etc.)
- how long can the car be off the road
- how long will you spend on this..both each session and overall
- how many pads/MFs do you plan to buy
- how will you clean the pads, both during the work and after
- how much correction does the paint need/will you do
- how often will you refresh the LSP/redo the Detail
- is the car parked inside or outside most of the time

[and others I'm not thinking of right now..]

I myself would be spending a lot more time on those factors than on anything we've discussed here so far (other than, "Yeah, buy the G9" ).

Accuming you have the facilities all sorted out (including that critical inspection lighting), I'd suggest that yoy just buy the G9, however many Polishing pads, Ceramic AiO, MFs, and have at it. Sip the Decontamination, and the LSP topper and anything else. Wash the car, go over it with the CAiO. There you are, done, with a clean, shiny, protected car. You can take it farther later if you want to go off the deep end, which is easy enough to do if you spend time here.

accumulator
You are totally right. I could wash the car put a aio on it and be done with it.
I am not set on anything. The reason I keep bring up COLLINITE 845 is because that is what I have on hand. That and OptiSeal but if something is better I will buy that and do that. Thanks

Thanks for the help and info. You are very helpful setec. I only will clay if car needs it. Wash and put in lsp. I need to get a g9. I don’t have one.

Bull6791- Ah, you have the 845! OK, see what you think the car needs after you wash it and apply the 845.

(I'm changing gears here now that I see why you're interested in 845/OptiSeal.)

What do you plan to do with the G9 when you get it? What *issues* do you want to solve with it?

With the 845, the process and general recommendations will be the same: use the G9 to do some (minor) correction and paint cleaning by using an All-in-One product (I'd just try a different one from the Ceramic, one that's more likely to play nice with the 845). I recommend that you go back over my (rather long!) list of things to consider, and see what you have vs. what you still need to get.

After you get it washed and 845'ed, I bet you'll have a better idea of what you want/need to accomplish with the G9 (which is still a great choice).

Just asking: does anyone still use Sonax polymer NETSHIELD.

I actually applied some to two cars last week!

My daughter and son-in-law were wanting something they could apply to their cars that was really easy to apply, durable, and behaved like a coating. The one spray sealant I knew for sure would probably work for them was PNS.

Desertnate
I Heard that was really easy to apply. It’s supposed to be really good. How long does it last.

I'm not Desertnate, but asking how long an LSP lasts is usually a loaded question. The answer depends on so many variables. I always try to pick something that's going to last as long as I need it to before I'm going to be motivated to apply a fresh coat. More importantly, I want to know that it's going to protect from water spots, bird bombs, and bug etching between applications personally.
