So I'm looking for my first car and I stumbled across this today.
Cars For Sale: Car Details - AutoTrader.com
I gave the gentleman a call and he told me the car has 71000 miles with all service records. Its a single owner car that the owner described to me as immaculatly kept. We all know...
This is a 63' Corvette that is owned by a local funeral home owner. The story of the car is a bit long but it had seen some abuse in it's life. The owner wasn't expecting perfection but we did the best we could. As a preface the clear on this car was extremely hard as
evidenced by the process...
Tomorrow my partner and I are doing a 63 vette. Anything I need to know special about this car. Is it fiberglass. Owner says it's been resprayed in areas which leads me to believe we may be dealing with some SS paint. Anything you can think of at all? We would really appreciate it.
Thanks...
I'm sorry if this has already been asked but I did a search :). Anywho I recieved some collinite 845 in the mail on friday and after a vigorous shaking it still looks very runny. Almost the consistency of water . Is this normal?
Thanks in advance
I should be recieving my rotary on Friday or Saturday and I'm getting the Makita 9227CX3. I know it has variable speed setting and I believe that on 3 the speed is something like 1500. My question is if I wanted to polish at 1200 how would I know I"m at 1200? Do you just hold the trigger halfway...
From what I understand the 9227CX3 comes with a velcro backing plate but I would like to replace it. Can I use one from meguiars or should I go with one of the ones from LC?
Could you please list what you use and if it is even possible to replace the original factory backing plate.
TIA
I tried woolite for the first time this weekend diluted 6:1 in a spray bottle so about 5 ounces of woolite and the rest (up to 32 oz.) water. When I use it though it seems to be sticky on the surface and even after several wipes it remains sticky. It does get better though after about 5 wipes...
I wasn't really sure where to put this but if someone wants to move it feel free.
Has anyone ever been in the business of flipping cars? You know buying it low and cleaning it up and then selling it for extra money on the return with little invested in it but your time for a really good...
When you say you use woolite on the interior what do you mean? The dishwashing detergent? A picture would be nice. Also if anyone would give me a general overview on what they use it for in the interior and it's advantage over tough stuff or a comparable product.
TIA
Josh
Just got my sample and I was wondering what people use as far as dilution rates. If you could also give me some of the things you use it for I would appreciate it very much.
TIA
As the title suggests I was wondering if anyone had any opinions on OCW and any tips or an explanation on how to apply it.
Thanks a bunch,
