I should be recieving my rotary on Friday or Saturday and I'm getting the Makita 9227CX3. I know it has variable speed setting and I believe that on 3 the speed is something like 1500. From what I understand the 9227CX3 comes with a velcro backing plate but I would like to replace it. Can I use one from meguiars or should I go with one of the ones from LC? Could you please list what you use and if it is even possible to replace the original factory backing plate. TIA

Yesterday I figured I would help my g/f wash and wax her car. Well, I waxed the whole thing with 4* UPP and then figured that I would try it on the windows also. The problem is that I didn't get it all off. Does anyone know of a way to get UPP off of the windows??? Thanks for the replys ~J
