Is there any advantage to using more then 2 coats or am I just wasting product?

I know some shows will not let you apply tire shine on the floor of the event, and sometimes the tire shine splashes onto the body while driving (maybe I only have that problem). But anyway, has anyone ever used a QD like Final inspection to shine the tires instead of a tire shine?

I wasn't sure how to condence this to a thread title so here we go. I somehow got some white over spray (I guess from line painting) on the bottom of the rear fenders of the Vette. I was wondering if claying it would help to remove this problem? Or if there is anything else I should try?

I have used and loved Final Inspection for years now. While browsing another thread I see that there is a new product out from Meguiar's. Something called last touch I believe it is. Could someone enlighten me as to the difference in the two?
