Correction Help needed.

It's all in the prep work (polishing). The uk, just locks it in longer.

Ck the thread 3 old guys with buffers and old pirates thread.

If you haven't used coatings, MY suggestion would be use a quality wax/sealant till you feel comfortable. I listed my suggestions earlier.

I haven't used any coatings to date but I have CQUK to put on when I'm done correcting. Any advice I need to know before applying it?

Do you have any LSP over the coating?

Be careful. Be careful. Be careful. If applied to heavy and high spots, you're gonna polish your butt off, to get it off. Apply, wipe, inspect from all angles, then move on.


As far as lsp over coating? :redface:

A little liquid natty's blue never hurt nuttin. :cool:

Nothing hugs the curves and highs/lows like a variable contact pad. Worth their weight in gold to me.

You did well. A little heavy on the waxes, but what the hell, you'll get to try out a lot of the top players. I bought a PC7424 originally, but about 5 minutes after owning it, I wanted something more powerful, and I got the Flex 3401. It just saves a lot of time. One thing about the Flex - great for larger defects, but if you use it full power, it can be too much to finish properly. Dial it back for finishing.

You mentioned the Menz SF4500, yes, it adds another level of clarity, you might as well get it over with and buy it.
 
Yes, the 4500sf, midnight sun, black hole, and ice over fire combo. These will be on my next order to try out.
