So I have been thinking of taking my passion for detailing and turning it into my career. Now typically I am a dive in head first type of person but, thankfully I have a better half who is a little more rational than I am. So she convinced me that I need to read up etc.. So first thing I did was pick up Renny Doyle's book "How to start a home based car detailing business". First, let me say I am not a reader AT ALL (besides maybe detailing forums ;) ) . This book I read within a matter of three nights because it was full from beginning to end with helpful tricks, thoughts, plans, etc.. Now when I do open my business which I WILL. I know I will be in 1,000 times better position to do so, thanks to Renny's great advice.

The book is a MUST read if you are thinking about starting in this business or even if you are just getting yourself established..

It contains a lot of trials and tribulations from one man's experience. A smart man once said that an even smarter man learns from the mistakes of others.

Ya know Todd, Mike has a book, so does Renny, How about an official book from Todd Helme??? I'd read it as I am sure you have insights others don't, do it Todd, write a book!

Thanks for the advice. Every little bit helps

I hope you do decide to read it, definitely money well spent.

Renny Doyle's book always seems to get great reviews. Thanks for sharing.

They are definitely well deserved. The book was inspiring, yet makes you think, just sucks you in.

That's the plan Todd :bigups

I have my book with it all marked up and pages falling out.

It was really great to not only read the book but take the 1 on 1 training with him as well.

Thanks for sharing. For myself who can't do it full time but always dream about it, this book will really benefit me
