Solution Finish or Black Wow Pro?

I'm usually pretty decisive when it comes to detailing products that I want to use, but I'm having trouble making up my mind on a good trim restorer. I've narrowed it down to these two, and would like to hear from people who have used one or the other, or both. Things that matter to me are of course looks, but also ease of use and longevity. Ive used the original Black Wow a lot and liked it, but Im out and would like to try something different.

Black wow pro is awesome stuff. I also like the matte look finish it leaves. Im not a big fan of glossy high shine stuff. Richard has been posting pix of that stuff going strong after 4 months on his FB.

I have no experience with Solution finish so i cant say if its any good or not

Yeah Ive followed BWP since it unveiled. I don't care for the high gloss greasy look either, and neither of these two are supposed to leave that kind of finish. I hadn't really even considered Solution Finish, but Chris does have some pretty convincing videos out there. I'm just looking to find something that I can sell to clients that actually lasts.

I have met Chris West at Detail Fest and he is a great guy. I have a bottle of Solution Finish and find it to be a nice product. I have yet to try the new Black Wow Pro.

I always seem to reach for UTTG or Wolfgang WETS for my trim. It seems to have the look I like and the durability is great.

I have used both. My experience is SF will restore badly faded trim "black", but it won't remain "dressed" looking for long.

BW I did not care for, as it attracted a ton of dust & dirt. It also only lasted a wash or two as a dressing. As a restorer, it may look good longer.

So, what you pick depends on what your trying to do and the condition of the plastic you are working on. IME, SF will restore the plastic, but you may want to use a dressing on top of it after a few washes.

Thank you guys. What I seem to run into a lot is badly faded trim and clients who just want the factory appearance back. I think I might give SF a shot and see how it goes.

Chris West.....which we have become pretty good friends sent me some products to test and review...including Solution Finish....If you can hold on I will be doing a full review and post here. ..

I'm huge fan of BWP. That stuff is amazing IMO! Works really well! I have it holding up strong on my jeep for 6 months still looking like day one. Just gotta make sure trims clean first. Never used SF

That's the writeup I was looking for. I appreciate it guys. I might just buy both and see which one I like more.

I've done the Solution Finish Black Plastic & Vinyl Restorer for the black dye finish then coated it with CarPro DLux for excellent longevity. I've had it last over a year.

Nate I've also got some SF on the way to test out if you can wait a little while. I also used BWP and it lasted about 2 weeks on my running boards and was very slick. According to Richard it works well on some plastics and others it won't absorb into and sits on top until washed off.
