No one despises a driver that won't surrender the fast lane any more than myself. This woman's actions clearly provoked the driver of the truck.
That said, anyone that believes this crash is anyone's fault other than the truck driver needs to reevaluate. No one but the truck driver is responsible for his actions. He had other options in front of him. He could have arrived at his destination a few minutes late, he could have passed her and just been angry, he could have pulled over to vent some steam before continuing but he allowed himself to lose control of his vehicle. That's the one thing he couldn't do. He and he alone is responsible for the outcome. Two wrongs don't make a right and the consequence of his actions were painful this time. Was she one of those drivers we love to hate? You bet!
I have people make me mad enough to respond as he did all the time. The difference is I don't. I'll bet he'll think about it twice before doing it again. She should get ticketed for both failure to yield the lane and for distracted driving should the laws allow. If not she should be shot.
