Flex Buffer????

Just One More Coat
Decided that I was going to get a Flex this year. I've had a orbital and rotary for years, like the combo. But in reading about them it seems like it can be the best of both worlds.

That said what are some of the better sites for pricing and models?

I see there are two main models

Thanks

If you find it for less anywhere else, give me a call and I'll beat their price.

Love my Flex 3401! It was the first polisher I ever bought and never looked back. I do like the new Rupes that are out though. They look like they are super easy to use and produce awesome finishes. But my problem is if I am going to do something I am going to go all out and do it right. That means I would spend entirely too much money on 4 new polishers. Lol.

love my flex

but I bought mini rupes

Did you really? How do you like it? I literally just bought a GG 3" a couple months back over the air Rupes mini (LHR75). I hate that I could of gotten the electric Rupes mini (LHR 75E) instead. I like the GG 3", but it seems like it takes so long to do a small section at its pace.

The Flex 3401VRG HD just appears to have a longer power cord...
Not sure that is worth an extra 50 bucks... But that's just me... :)

Longer...thicker...slightly higher quality (rubber) cable.

Having a 25 foot power cord hardwired into the machine is a heck of a lot more convenient than an extension cord.

It's one of those "how come I didn't do this sooner?" type of things. ;)

I'm surprised you guys don't sell the roboreel, I know Detailers domain carries them. It's such a great tool for anyone who details.

A 25' extension cord which would be all you would ever need to do one side and front and back ends is way less... Just sayin'..... :)

Ron. which do you like better?

Haven't gotten it yet. Hopefully this week

Last year at df, I got to play with the rupes full size. Felt real nice, just for some reason I didn't do it. for myself, I know what the flex does, and doesn't do, and I know the results I get with what pads. So it took me this long to decided to give it a try, but on my own terms......

Guess I am just a cave man

I agree with you Dan. Just hang a retractable extension cord in your garage instead of the long cord and problem solved. I have the long cord on my GG 3" and it just gets in the way sometimes.
