I just read on another forum that Megs was discontinuing their APC Plus. Has anyone else heard this? Todd? I'm going to be very disappointed if its true.

Just a suggestion but if you haven't tried PB APC it's been my go to for years.

You can still get Meguiars D103 APC+ at Detailing.com, Irvine, CA. $13.99 gallon..
Sucks they are discontinuing it. Loved it for years!!! It can do anything and is especially good at carpets and headliners..
And the best part - very low foam!!! Smells great !!!

SSSHHHHH dont let the secrete out, imma drive out there and clean them out lol and sell it for gold lol

sad news as i noticed yesterday my gallon was nearing the bottom...are they going to replace it with something or just get out of the apc+ business all together?

From what I read, it was a price issue. Apparently, if they were to keep it, it would become one of the most expensive APCs on the market. I'm sure it will be replaced with something though.

Interesting, it is one of the cheapest right now IMO.

thats surprising to me as well..i thought i got the gallon for one heck of a deal..i think it was like $20 give or take a few $s

heck, i would have payed more now after i have been using it with great results

I was told by my supplier that the price would triple and it would only be in 5 gals.

If that is the case it will fail as a product. I like OPC better but it is 3x the price so I reserve it for specific tasks. If I am going to spend that much anyway I will just consolidate to one product.

I wonder if they would have to make a chemistry change to meet some regulation and decided to just stop making it.

From MSDS:

Ethylene Glycol Monopropyl Ether
Sodium Metasilicate
Linear Primary Alcohol Ethoxylate
EDTA
