Review - Iron X Lemon Scent

It is time to find out how well the new IXLS works. It took me an extra day but I needed to find the perfect white vehicle. The test car was a 1999 Ford Escort. The car had not been washed for over a year.

Prep: Car foamed with CG Bug Wash then 2 bucket washed with CGCW. The car was dried with a drying MF to make sure IX did not get diluted.

Tape Line placed on driver door. IX on the left and IXLS on the right. The same number of sprays was used on each section. Sprayers were exactly the same. Pictures were taken every minute for five minutes.

Since I was using both IX's I was smelling Cherry Lemon. The Cherry scent never bothered me and the Lemon scent does not. Someone else will have to comment that has a strong dislike for the IX smells.

Both products worked great. The new IXLS did seem to cling better than IX.

Nice review Ben! I played with the new scent that corey sent me, and it is a lot better than the original product. If you stick you face in the bottle like I did there isn't a big difference, but when sprayed the lemon scent if much more pleasant, and it seems to dissipate quicker.

Nice review. The smell never bothered me too bad until a bottle of it accidentally busted in my detailing bag, which then sat in my SUV for a few days until I realized what happened. My interior still smells like Iron X lol.

+1 for horrible perm. I'm glad to hear this scent isn't as bad! I hate using Iron-x and we go through a gallon of it every 2-3 weeks and anyone on property gets who works here gets annoyed. Then any customers wondering around are like WTF?! Such an awesome product and time saver though!
