Orinda Auto Detail - Got whip lash????

Orinda Auto Detail

So a while back I had some very simple instructions given to me by the great and powerful wizard of Todd to create whip lash! This is the latest round of fun we've had in Orinda doing our part to keep the chiropractors in the area in business!

All of these cars were polished with Black Fire SRC Compound and or Finshing polish(probably more finishing polish than anything). It's crazy what kind of correction can be achieved with some "Finishing" polish. The last pic of the Porsche had no LSP and was 2 stepped with said finishing polish. Just a pad switch and handled!

Thanks for looking

Thanks guys I try!!!

I love the pics from your shop! What a joy it must be to work on nothing but nice automobiles!
Thank you i'll keep them coming! Hopefully one of these days i'll find time to do a full write up I kinda miss doing them but sooo busy(good thing). And while we do get to work on a lot of nice cars we don't hesitate to do any car. 2 weeks ago I was buffing a 300k Maybach and my little brother was right next to me buffing a 1994 accord. If it has paint we will break necks!

Awesome! What do you use on the black trim, like the silver BMW?
Thanks buddy, on that car actually that trim was very bad and scrapped up, so I pulled it off, sanded it, filled and sprayed with Sems trim black paint. In general though I have some dressing I get in bulk from P&S(30 gallon drums) that works really well on tires and trim.

Nice work as usual Joe. I remember when you were a Uno, Menz guy and were reluctant to try BF. My how things have changed!

Thanks guys!

Yeah it has sooo much! I'm sure I could get almost same results with the stuff I use to use. How ever I find using black fire makes my life way easier, I hardly ever have to aggressively compound a car anymore. It's a cake walk to get awesome results these days with out the 4-5 steps. Last time I did 4 steps on a car with BF stuff it came out unreal, It caused more than whip lash in the parking lot. It was more like a road block because ppl from the gas pumps kept walking over to the car to drool and backed the gas line out into the street. We are in the golden years of detailing IMO!
