Griot's Best of Show Wax on White 2013 Rogue

Forgive me if this is in the wrong section! Thought pictures of the effects of a wax would go here haha.

Threw a coat of Griot's Garage Best of Show Wax on my mother's Rogue to test it out for the first time, and I gotta say this stuff looks good but is a pain to work with. No polishing or anything before, wanted to clay but got lazy haha, it's only a month old, shouldn't be too bad. I used a red Lake Country CCS pad on my PC, and tried to apply as thin a coat as possible. This stuff dries so quick though! And hard! To buff off after waiting about 15 mins, I had to use some Meg's Ult. Spray Wax, or I'd risk marring the surface getting the wax off..

Despite this, the results do look quite good. She had to go so I have no water beading pics, just two quick cell phone shots:

i agree, the griot's best of show wax looks good, but doesn't remove easily if left on too long. your mom's car turned out nice !

That looks really good but I too agree that its a pita to work with. I threw my bottle in the dumpster during a temper tantrum over it last summer.

Very nice job. I like many Griot's products - speed shine, and their PC pads, but that Best of Show, IMO is just an unnecessary PITA! Difficult to remove, even when applied by PC, very sensitive to humidity and there's nothing about its look or staying-power that make it worth the hassle. BTW, their one-step sealant is very good. Just clay and apply the polish/sealant with a PC and their orange pad and the car will look better than 90% of them out there. Just adding this to prove I'm not a Griot's basher.

+1 on the griot's one step sealant. in fact i like most of griot's products too. i have both of their da polishers and love them. :bigups

I've used the best of show wax on my daily car before. Looks incredible, but I agree, total pain to remove unless you use a detail spray to assist. Makes removal super easy
