Here is one of my quick winter projects. The finish was color sanded with 2000 grit. Polished with M105 then 205 on Megs MF polishing pads. All with the Rupes LHR15. The smoothness of the machine was a great help especially where I needed to support the super thin composite skin with one hand and polish with the other.

That's my friend Keith. He is a member here. We've done multiple Concours restorations together. The pearl was tricky to get just right. He is a master of metallics and pearls. Plus with all the curves and inlets on the nose I was worried about runs with 3 coats of clear.
Sometimes it's best to not take chances.

Yes he wears a mask. Just happen to catch him during the black.
