You just know that somewhere there's a home handyman DIY wood working forum that would show pics of the damaged garage door frame rather than the car.

Back in the 80's my sister called me & said she scratched dad's car, can I help. Asked her what happened & she said she pulled into a curb parking spot and scratched (her words) against a pickup truck.

When I saw the car I found the passenger side can-openered from the fender to the rear quarter. I said "scratched??" & got more details about the pickup truck that actually had a snowplowing blade mounted that ripped the sheet metal.
 
Haha my first car was an 88' Bronco II that Steve actually gave to me when I was 16 ..... well I was offroading one day and there was a serpentine of two trees "Oh I can surely get through that no problem" I said ..... wellllll...... I got stuck between the two and it creased the entire passenger side of the truck hahahaha I was not made because it was old and I loved to beat on it.

Waiting to get picked up by the local scrap yard after she finally died on me
