Chemical Guys Black?????

Who has it been proven by? And please don't say some people on some forum did this or did that. Show me a link or a post.

Here is a post to what Dodo Juice had to say on the subject:

Dodo did a test with their waxes on a white panel. They taped off squares and used their different waxes on each. You could see difference in the shade of white. Some gave the white a different tint. I think it was on their site

Exactly, that's what I'm saying.

My response was to John saying that they don't do anything different, when I don't believe that is the case.

Sounds like Natty's Blue to me....

The consistency is said to be like pudding...

I am interested in how it works and how people like it. It is really nice to see that companies are coming up with new and innovative ways of mixing and blending waxes to come up with new and better products.

LAVA has a harder, almost spongy feel. You can press your finger into it and till will slightly rebound and leave just a faint outline of your finger tips....

BLACK is very much like pudding. It is very soft. If you push your finger into you will quickly find the bottom of the container.

It even has a sheen to it. Really cool stuff.

Anyone else out there thronging this product is a bit expensive for what it is ??? Basically, its a polymer sealant in semi solid form - right?

I wonder if the tub will last as long as other waxes. It looks like you may end up using a bit more per panel then you would a traditional paste wax.

I would agree. With its pudding like consistency, it might be hard not to just go in and grab a lot of product. With a paste, most of the time you naturally use it sparingly. I mean you could rub hard, but even so you won't really be using all that much product.

Just got mine today. I may do half my hood w lava and the other half w black. See the differences

I happen to want to SAVE my money. No offense but I have literally SHELVEs of old S that I tried and wasted money on. The only way to get the surface corrected is to correct it.....NOT fill it in. I tell you, recently I bought all the new Meguires polishes and I was VERY impressed. Of course I used my ROTARY with the stuff they said to use by hand. I will NEVER let my trustee rotary leave my side. I love the new Flex rotary. I own two now and buying a third real soon. Ninety percent of the cars I polish are BLACK. I dont really mind, as someone has to do it. Be Well!

In the Northeast in the rust belt I get to see what holds up and what doesnt. The Wolfgang line is one of the best I have seen to date. The sealer is very effective. The Ps 21 wax is one of the better ones I have used for the money. Any car you love will need constant maintenance to keep it pristine.
