Cleaning leather seat can be very time consuming when doing a full detail. So a lot of the time I have my in and quickie washes where someone wants me to clean thier seats, Well letherque takes a while so this how I do it in a hurry.

You'll need a Mr Clean Magic Eraser
Some very diluted apc 50:1 or even plain water works too
A microfiber that is used for dirty work

These are pretty dirty but my customer only has 2 hours and I have to wash the car and vac it and clean all the cupholders (mini detail) but they also want the seats to look better

So I have my magic eraser and my APC or water. Im going spray the sponge directly just enough to get it damp, then I'm going to spray the section of the seat I want to clean. You littlerally not even going to push on the sponge just treat it like claying paint and let the sponge do the work no heavy scrubbing needed. After a few passes spray a little more APC or water onto the area cleaned and wipe with a towel and........

Handled, I did this in less than one minute taking pics and all. Finished the rest and other seats in the car in 8 minutes total and got a 95% improvement. Hope this helps!

Great thread! I definitely agree with don't use pressure. I would add that it you should test an inconspicuous spot first. Magic eraser material can remove the pigment of some leather seats, so test a hidden area first!!!

Secondly, beautiful women, congrats! :bigups

Wow nice job on the seat and congrats on the house.

I like to use a Autoglym HiTech pad on really dirty stuff like that. Too bad they aren't made anymore because they sure work well. I might pick up a Magic Eraser to test out on some stuff since I hear such good things about t

Yes, be careful with the Magic eraser.. It can pull color out and even damage leather material in some instances.

Leather looks great !

I also like OPC for cleaning really dirty leather.

What a good looking couple you are !;)

Have fun with the new house and garage!:bigups

Great showing there, I agreed also on the pad your using, always be careful when using a Magic Eraser on leather because it will eat the pigment and keep on going. BTW great couple there also!

I'm glad someone pointed this out, the ME can be very dangerous on some surfaces, it has bleach in it. For me I wouldn't put the two together even at the dilution rate suggested. I can't argue that the seats came clean quickly but I have to wonder what else was coming up at the same time or what the effects are on the leather? I use woolite and water for cleaning leather when I don't need Leatherquie, with a good board hair brush I can cover ground pretty quickly and in a safe manner. Just my .02 on leather cleaning.

You're able to afford a 5k sq ft house on a detailers salary?!?!?!? Wtf am I doing wrong...

At the bare minimum a house of that size in that area (very high end real estate for CA) would sell for 2 to 3 million, and that is on the lower end. I'd like to know his secret:D

Thats what I was thinking

Maybe it was a typo. Maybe its a 500 sq ft house with a .5 garage :D

BTW...You two do make a great looking couple. Can we get more pics of her :inspector:
