Thoughts BFCS topped with SSII

On my black car the paint is still in good condition (not ready for a correction yet), there is some marring

We did a road trip this weekend and when I got home last night gave it a traditional wash with Duragloss bug spray, and washed car with ironx Snow Soap and Griots Car Wash Soap. The car is squeaky clean, and I am sure I have removed some of the LSP since the last one on there was BFMS about a month...

I just picked up Pinnancle SSII, Should I apply some blackfire CS first? Would it benefit anything?

The crystal seal should be applied first and allowed to cure for 45 minutes or so, then apply SSII if you'd like. I've used both before but never together but I'm sure it'll look great and provide good protection.

SSII is a great wax (with an incredible smell)! It also offers good protection for such a great looking wax. There is nothing wrong with using it by itself as a protectant for sure. You will get even more protection by layering it over BF Cyrstal Seal, should you choose.

Upon further inspection I might use TPnS or Gloss enhancing Polish first before applying the CS and SSII.

Todd the paint does have some marring but nothing to serious, I have a new bottle of Gloss enhancing polish, should I skip the TPnS and go directly to GEP and then CS and then SSII for some added bling

TPnS has more cut than GEP, so I would go with that instead.

Tell us about the look of the two layered you're when done.
I'm interested in your observation. What are you going to use?

In Order:
Gloss enhancing Polish (brand?)
Blackfire CS
Pinnancle SSII

My guess is that the look will be the Pinnancle SSII

Tomorrow my friend.... The Stig shipped my stuff on Friday should get it today...
So this is the game plan, I want to see what GEP is capable of, since I do got some marks and straight line scratches from improper method of waterless wash (my fault) I wanna see how it fills these up. Then I will lay CS and SSII:rockon

My wifes SUV is going to be getting DG501 then SSII.

I am looking forward to your thoughts and results!

How would you describe the look?

I'm not as good as describing the look of the finish as most here(lack of experience),but it looks very glossy. It's not a plastic/candy look and not quite a pure Nuba look either. I'm currently using it on a deep metallic grey, but I get the feeling that it would look 10x better on a different color.

I usually wash this car with optimum car wash, but this last time I used the previous version of blackfire car wash soap and ......

hey Todd, I remember reading awhile ago that some wax had issue with "sticking" to Blackfire sealants. If I did the CS first would I compromise durability of SSII, or should I skip to the CS and go from GEP to SSII?

OK heres the pics, I skipped the CS, I did the BF GEP and then SSII.

SSII may not last quite as long, although the difference may be small. However the CS would still be there long after, therefore you would still be looking great and be well protected (far longer than SSII by itself)
