So I was looking through my phone last night that has over 5000 pics on it and thought I'd see what the opinions on this are. I have pics of dialed in black cars are almost every make and model and I noticed that me personally from the factory I like the way Audi black looks the best. I don't know if its because it's a little darker than others or its just the reflection but I like it. What about you guys?
I did this a couple months ago and these are the pics that sold me.

I like jet black the most but that is unforgiving in the finish. My next car that I get to chose the color it will be a metallic based black. The metallic helps to mask some of the smudges

the tree reflections on the audi are definitely spectacular, and the sun reflections on the fender add that extra flare. very nice.

Living in Texas, black has never been a consideration for me. Too dang hot! Have always tried to avoid it on exterior or (especially) the interior. I do like the way it looks on other people's cars, though.

Brilliant black Audi paint does look exception when finished, I had one for 3 years and even after a good wash I was always taken by how glossy it was.

any black with some metallic or pearl action going on. black with no tint is straight up boooooooooooooooooring to me. i want to see some flakes popping out under the sun!

Black with blue pearl is gorgeous!
Funny thing about that paint on honda's/acura's I did a customers pilot that she swore was black and bought it off the show room floor as a black car. After I detailed it I had it park out side in the sun and she insisted that I painted it "Because MY CAR IS BLACK NOT BLUE!!!" She was soooo mad it took me an hour and calls to multiple dealers to calm her down lol.

She must have felt pretty foolish when she realized !Thats crazy!:D

I like both solid black and ballsett (sp) black (black flake) when it is wrapped over the curves of a 911 Turbo. However the best factory black I have ever seen was on a Rolls Royce Drop-Head Coupe. Almost zero orange peel and no paint paint imperfections.

I like the Tuxedo Black that Ford does....nice flake and when its clean shimmers in the night!!

It is an interesting paint. The flake looks multi-colored and blaze with the right LSP and pick up all sorts of colors. Around trees, it picks up a lot of green. However, in overcast or diffused light, it has gray tone.

For solid black I really like Lexus paint...probably because they tend to have less orange peel than some others.

For a metallic black I had a test hood taken off of some Ford SUV that was really sweet with a red pearl in it.

Yeah! I was so temped to say lexus but I like audi a little more, I did a 99 ls the other day and it came out amazing!

When I had my 70 painted a few years ago I told him I wanted the blackest black PPG made. I think it turned out pretty good. You can see two pics of it in the poll What era of car do you like the most running by Todd Helme or I could add them to this thread.
