I wish my Iphone took better pics because these pics don't show half the story this is probably the worst condition I've ever seen one of these cars in absolutely DESTROYED Buffer Halo's, Oxidation, Massive wash swirls, Rids, Bird etchings, hard water spots, window spit etchings, and mystery white stuff all over the interior(I didn't want to ask)

That's a shame. Should make for a good writeup though :) Hope You've got some big guns for that job. I wouldn't think twice about doing some hand scrubbing with a Trizact pad on that one lol.

Wow. Talk about hammered and trashed. Dude I think we're in the land of steel wool or worse. I hope you photo document this so that when you hand him you bill you don't get any push back. I don't think I would touch that car with out an written agreement. Looks like a lot of work.

I see cars like this, especially nice stuff like porsches, and I just drool... I would love to do this car ..... it would be so neet to just watch the products and effort make it into an knockout detail.

Good luck!

Re: Holy cow! *** Updated***

Huge turn around!!!! I was scared to come back to the thread, but I did, and I'm glad. Nice WORK! :rockon:rockon:rockon:rockon

I can't see how the client was disappointed (sounds like you may be). HUGE turnaround in my opinion

choice in pads / polish? total hours into the job? just curious. looks like you put in work

Looks much better! Making the client happy and saving paint for the future is what is important! Nice save.
Thank you John!
Looks so much better. Great work!
Thanks Mike!

Customer was super happy. It was me that wasn't thrilled. Some of the etchings wouldn't come out. Customer didn't even see it till I pointed it out.
As far as pads and what not I did this whole car with Black Fire. I'm starting to like it alot. I used my rotary for the whole thing too CCS pads yellow, oarnge, white, and red. Finished it with BFWD then topped it with pinnacle. I still haven't got the trick to make the cars really pop with blackfire but I think it's just a learning curve and this was easily 40 hours of practice or at least I billed for that but It was more like 55 I think. Using BF with a rotary was kinda wierd but the SRC finishing is amazing I think it looked better than menz 85rd with a rotary. I couldn't see a difference when I used my flex.

Dude, you are too hard on yourself. I can apprecaite your desire to perfect but if the clear coat or wallet can't handle it, you gotta stop. It looks more than 75%. Your a detailer not a Genie. I think I looks great.
