Increase in Brazilian #1 Carnauba prices?

Got a posting from Poorboy's facebook page that suggested Brazilian #1 carnauba is in severe shortage and prices are likely to skyrocket soon. Might cause our favourite wax makers to raise prices as well.

Any one can confirm/deny these rumours?

While I cannot predict pricing changes (1 way or another) I have heard that T1 grade (what we call number #1 Brazililan Yellow Carnauba) will be most effected. However this isn't new, carnauba has been in short supply for a long time.

So sealants may truly be the future of car care! Luckily BFWD has the look and depth.

yeah boy, thank goodness the quality of the newer sealants has improved , but i stll love the look of a good carnauba. i'll shine on with bfwd no matter what.

Hmm the only sealant I have ever used is BFWD and that was recently, what did these older sealants look on the car ?

Sealants will not be far behind as their raw components are going up in price soon as well :(

Pockets is right on this, in my work all of our raw materials had gone up and continue to do so and we have to pass the increase to you know who......the customer.
