I'm going to start by saying...this was a CHALLENGE  Not only because this car has lots of curves and narrow body lines, but because the paint was insanely hard to work with. For the swirl correction I tried the follow products:

XMT #3, XMT #4, Meg's Swirl Remover 2.0 and Wolfgang TSR 3.0 with no effect. After all this I talked with my Dad who gave me a product called "Presta Chroma 1500" which worked like a dream. After doing some research on it I found it is very similar to Meg's #105, so I picked a bottle up because I had very little of the Presta.

The 105 worked great, however I still had to go over some spots twice to get the swirls out (Thank god this car doesn't have a roof).

I took the usual steps for this car...a very careful wash and dry, clay bar and swirl correction followed by XMT 360 and my Dodo Juice Homebrew wax I won here last week! (Thanks again Autogeek!!!)

Here is a before shot of the car and some before/after shots of the swirls

As you can see from the photos, the car was "taken care of" just not correctly.

After 5.5 days and close to 30 hours of work, I finally rolled the car out into the sun to see if my hard work had paid off.

The owner requested I didn't detail the engine bay, but I took a photo anyway when I had the hood open

Although this was such a challenge, it really paid off, as the hard jobs usually do. :buffing:

I want to thank Autogeek again for the contest that allowed me to win the Dodo Juice homebrew kit. I really enjoyed the wax and it put an amazing shine on the Cobra! :dblthumb2:
