Portable Air Compressor For Car Tires

Can anyone suggest a quality portable air compressor that plugs into the cigarette lighter?

I purchased a Sears Craftsman model that lasted for exactly one tire. I'd prefer something small since it's going to stay in the trunk, but I need something dependable as well.

I don't know much about it but Groit's Garage has a tire repair kit witha compressor in its own bag. I looks like a good emergency kit.

If that is to much or not what you looking for I have a very small unit like what you are talking about. I believe I got it from Harbor Freight.

Within reason, I'm more concerned about the dependability versus the cost. It's ironic because I did some more research last night and I found positive reviews on the VIAIR 85P portable compressor, the same model included in that Griot's kit. I just need to decide if I want the entire repair kit, or just the compressor itself.
