I take it that AutoGeek discount codes don't work here? I tried to make a purchase here today using an AG VIP discount code and it was not recognized but is over there. I realize the money all goes to the same place at the end but I was attempting to support this site. The AG site hardly needs support, this one is still slowly growing. Comments from the Powers That Be on this????
 
It's kind of hard to order here even though I would very much like to with what AG has going on over there. It seems as though more effort is put towards Ag's store than this one which is a shame. How can this store expect to compete with a buy one get two free sale. Maybe with time things will improve for Todd and the boys.
 
They're not trying to compete. Why would they? And the buy one get two free sale is so they can clear out old stock, you don't expect them to hand out the new stuff for nickels do you?
 
No never said they were trying to compete, but the store does help drive the forum something has to pay for it, we don't, unless we buy from the store.

Of coarse the sale is for obvious reasons so why isn't it on sale here also??

Do you see a sample page, BOGO sales or VIP sales? Those are traffic generators not nice guy sales. All I'm saying is there seems to be more of a marketing effort over there. Not saying it's good or bad, it's obviously the people that make the decisions wishes, and I'm sure they have good reason for how they are running it. They know a hell of a lot more about it than I do. Maybe will see changes as the forum grows the switch wasn't that long ago and things take time. I hope so, it would be nice to see this one rival the other. Competition is good.
 
I am hoping that AF will continue to bring in new and different product lines that AG doesn't have to help set them apart. But so far every time that happens AG picks up the line as well. So it does make it hard to order from AF at times when AG has multiple sales, codes, bogo's.
 
AG has turned into a mega store in a short period of time.

I feel like they are going to take there time with Autopia. I would live to see something similar to a BOGO over here though.
 
The thing that I think sets AF apart is the Blackfire stuff. Yes AG has it but the new line was released here first. That had to help boost sales some. I think the addition of some lines to AF has helped a lot because there were times when I wanted to order here because Free shipping to only be disappointed that I couldn't find everything I wanted. Additional sales help but in the end it hurts PBMG's bottom line and I think all the sales over on AG may prevent as many sales here. I could be wrong and I probably am but that's my opinion.

I have to say- Free shipping over $75>Free shipping over $125. This store had an advantage on the recent promotion

I like the sales AG runs almost weekly but AF will match them so why not use that feature if you want to order here. Puls we get 2 discount codes to choose from here. I don't think I've ever used the AG codes because of their sales.



I do think having some exclusive lines here would be a great thing. I had hoped CG and Blackfire would have been exclusive to this store only.
 
Thank you for the discount information but AG has 20% off this weekend so I'll buy the products there.

And we appreciate what you have done here so far. From the posts I can see some of us are starting form somewhat of an allegiance to this site and feel the playing field should be level if comparisons are to be made.

I would like to share my recent shopping experience with another PBMG store.

Last time when I placed an order on AG, they put in a sample bottle of Poorboys Nattys Blue. I didnt know anything about the sample until I opened my package a few weeks later.

Even though the sample was given to me for free, the bottle feels sturdy. Packaging is very nice and label is clearly printed. I was pleasantly surprised by AG, and of couse by the product. So I placed a order of over a hundred dollars very soon at AG, with a few Poorboy's products that I never thought about buying.

To conclude, I believe free samples are something important to boost sales by reaching new customers. To differentiate AP from AG, I suggest AP may start offering samples of Blackfire and Sonus line first.

I concur and wanted to spend some money here. Seems like the parent company might want to consider a coordinated effort across multiple forums (where applicable) when a special sale is announced. If this site and the 'parent site' have the same product any special discounts offered should be usable at either. The recent AG sale of 20% off, which is rare, undermined many of your efforts here to put this place on the map. Seems a bit unfair and certainly a compromise/change could be made.

Times are tough and money is tight. Like most I'll save wherever I can. As you can see on the left I have been a member for a while, watched all the ups & downs, changes, and new ownership. Maybe it's time for a meeting of the minds to put shopping on this site and AG's site on equal footing.

Launching a product line is tough and time consuming, been there done that. Just remember it is but ONE line.....don't lose sight of the big picture.
 
ACC will match any sale, so if AG has 20% off or BOGO they will match it correct? Other then maybe not having what you are looking for if you want to use the code just ask them to price match.
It would be nice to see a BOGO or a list of samples that can be included with your order here as well.
