Well now I'm hooked

Looks great from your pictures:bigups, what products were use in the correction work you use?

Sorry I missed this question earlier. Believe it or not I had some Megs Scratch X from when I had my black Road King and some polish that my buddy got from Zaino. Neither one said they were for machine polishing. I figured what the heck I can't make it any worse than it is.

Oh boy this is just the beginnig of many hours looking, reading and pondering about all of the different products out there and what to buy next. As you said your hooked!! For what ever reason this post reminded me of this.

aw man, i love that song!!!! yeah once you get perfect paint then you want your tires to compliment your paint, then you want gleaming chrome and the beat goes on... there's always something new to try.

Yeah right now i am gooing through all of the lousy tire shine products i have tried through the years. Time to find a better product for that application too.

Rudy, sometimes I've found it best just to discard those old unimpressive products. Once I replaced them with newer, better quality products I noticed an uplift in both shine and durability.

Bobby G, What are some good tire products that you have had good luck with?

I'm not Bobby G but I will tell you that I use Optimum Tire bond and am very happy with it. I apply it with a tire applicator sponge.

Well I got lucky on what video to post seems to be something that others can relate to when it comes to all this detailing stuff. Hopefully my luck continues!!

Neglected? You sure turned that around. Kudos on the black paint haha it's so much work. I'm looking forward to doing paint correction on my black car

The MB 500SL is really a beautiful car in black. The first time I saw it was when we went to pick it up. My buddy wanted to know what I thought. The car was in a garage and had just been washed, and I told him I couldnt really tell what kind of shape it was in it was that dull. The wheels had only been cleaned on the outside since new. There was a good 1/2 inch of accumulated brake dust on the back surfaces.
