Hello all! I've got a new 2012 ford focus on order. It will black with two tone black and red leather interior. I'm really looking forward to getting it and spoiling it with car care!!
 
Don't have it yet. I ordered it about two weeks ago, they said it will take about 6-8 weeks for it to be built from the factory. Trust me, as soon as it comes in I will post some photos!!

Thanks everyone...for the fellow Jersey folks, I'm in Flemington.

And trust me, I've been scouring the store already. I ordered the Pinnacle Exterior kit as I was in need some of new exterior items. (Still stocked up on interior leather items from my last car).

I'll be posting photos as soon as I get it (after the first wash and wax of course)
 
Oh, one more thing...I did some searches, but the search doesn't allow the search term "new"

Can anyone link to a good thread for caring for new paint? I read the tutorial on the site, but was looking for something more in-depth. Thanks in advance.
 
Welcome to AF. I LOVE the new Focuses! Be sure to post pics when you get her. Lets hope the dealership doesn't swirl it up too bad before you pick it up.

Welcome to Af. This place is a great starting point. I like the way they redid the focus. Was not happy with the last body style but really feeling this one. Have fun, black cars are like having a 2 nd job lol.

I hope the first wash is done by you. Be sure to opt out of the DISO. (Dealer Installed Swirl Option) Especially with Black. Insist that they not touch the car until you are there to supervise and have them only remove necessary plastic for you to drive it home.
