I got full halogen led replacements bulbs from the eBay. The led replacement bulbs are really amazing at brightness, huge savings on electric duties. Very nice experience. Soluna Green

Have you seen these
Ive looked around. Those are what I've been looking at. There are also 50w versions. I'm trying to find a supplier in the US to buy/try till I find the right one with the correct amount of light. I don't want to go the route of buying and being stuck with the ones that don't work for the task as I would like two units. Too bright could also be a problem with certain colors.

Is there such a thing as a dimming LED? I don't think that's possible because I think they light up with a specific voltage
I think the ideal would be units with dimmable LEDs; then the output could be matched to the circumstances.
While wandering around SEMA I noticed it was invaded with new vendors offering Leds in a multiple of varieties. From strips and bulbs to off- road fixtures. Some of the off-road lights ranged from 6 bulb to bars that went all the way accross a roll bar or bumper with 30 or more bulbs. you could vary the lighting by having a variable of lamps on one stand.I was thinking these would make great detailing lights to replace the halogens on my stands. They are already self contained so to say and would be easy to mount on a stand or existing fixture.
