Pop-Up Ads

Not sure if anyone has noticed this or not (....) but there's some kind of annoying pop-up ads that that come up in threads as one tries to read them.

If you are referring to the ones that pop up when your scroll over certain keywords, this isn't a new thing. Been doing it for over a year.

It's only on certain keywords. Scroll over this word ----> Poorboys

I don't think so. Can you just quit running the cursor over the words as you read?

It's not like I can't see the ads at the top and sides of the page. Embedding them in the text randomly is irritating.

I do not see them that often but do not like to see a lot of them.

I agree -- it saves noobs from having to look up an acronym list or glossary of terms, it's right there in the thread/post to which it applies.
