New to me Air Compressor.

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
My next door neighbor is a letter carrier for USPS. Yesterday a guy offered him his old Campbell Hausfeld air compressor...he has a good already so he asked me if I wanted it...heck yea! The one that I have is a cheapo one from Sears that get me by OK, but over heats quickly. We plugged it in and it runs like a camp:):):)

Anywho I need to get some hoses for it and looks like I need the nipple that connects the hoses up. I have to get the owners manual online to make sure of that.

Its a 11 gallon tank

model number is LT500100

Anywho, can anyone point me in the direction where I can get all this info?

Thanks DC:D

How about a couple pictures? That might help us help you with what you need.

That's in the making Scott, I have to clean it up a bit...Looks like this was used for painting houses, paint splatters all over it. I'll get those up later today:D

My father in-law gave me his Speedaire compressor since he bought a new upright one. In the 6+ years I owned it, I haven't gotten around to degreasing it or cleaning the paint over spray off of it. I guess I have a nice project now that it is in the 50's again.

Here are the before and afters of the beast...this must have been used by a house painter. There was paint splatters all over it..I managed to remove most of it, using some scrappers and lacquer thinner...I checked on the factory website..the hoses are available for 12 bucks. There is also a cover that goes over the motor and one on the very back side..not sure that I will need those..sure would make it look better.:D

I actually pulled mine out and gave it a good cleaning. I also changed the oil. The old stuff was very black.
