Pledge

Oh No! Not another PLEDGE thread!:horse:

Since it's been dead for 3 1/2 months I better revive it.

If you don't like it, why revive it? It's a few months old already. Obviously you've had to search for it, as it wouldn't be right at the front of the line of new/recent posts. :hmmm:

way way back in the day i used pledge on my car as a detailer, detailers were'nt even invented yet, i would get stopped coming home from work at nite and asked what i use on my car to get it to look like that. i don't for a minute advocate the use of pledge on your car, there's products specifically for that now. another product i used was clean and shine, it was a spray made for all kitchen surfaces really worked well. just thought i'd share that.

When I was a kid we had a neighbor that was a bit of a mustang. Instead of the ever popular "Simonize Wax" of that time he used Pledge. His car always looked like a million bucks and he was done washing & pledging before my father & I got the first coat of Simonize off of a fender. God that stuff was a BEAR to remove. Part of that problem was "if a little is good then more is better" :rofl Pledge actually did a hell of a job on the single stage paints of that day.

But remember, we used to put on a "heavy coat of wax" for winter.......
