CD2 Engine Detailer

Beemerboy

Just One More Coat
Anyone know where I can find a distributor for this product? The Harley shop that I work with, fell in love with it when I did details for them.

Thanks:D

I have always found it at Advance Auto Parts near the engine additives section of the store.

Dave the guy that wants this is going to stock it at his shop..I found that Turtle Wax makes it and the corporate office is in IL. I've sent them a email asking for a local dealer :D

I've always found it at Auto Zone. It isn't ever displayed where you think you would find it. The 2 Zones that are close to me display the product by the transmission fluid and leak stop fluids.

If I recall right this product has been discontinued for the second time ... and from what I heard this time for good.

Hadn't heard that but I haven't purchased any for at least 6 months. I've got about 8 cans left. Too bad, if that is the case.

Turtle Wax still lists it on their web store. Here's the link

go figure ... I have enough for a year or two. The last time I went looking for it I couldn't find it anywhere. I don't recall who told me that it was discontinued, but it was a reliable source.

What do you use it on? Burns off the engine cases before you get out of the driveway.

Its killer on the black crinkle finish Harley has on a lot of bikes.. I know it burns off pretty quick but for show room bikes and such makes a much nicer eye appeal:D

Style over substance... involving Harleys?!? Tell me it's not true! :crazy2:

Curious, the S100 Engine Brightener and Pig Spit they've probably got on their shelves looks as good (IMO) and is much longer lasting. :::shrug:::

I've used both of the products you mentioned (the S100 and Pig Spit) and I don't think either one lasts any more or less time than CD2.... :hmmm:

They both are, however, much more expensive than CD2.

CD2 is visibly smoking off the cases on all 3 of my Harleys while they're warming up. The smell and smoking ceases after a few miles telling me the CD2 is gone. Never had a hint of that with either of the other 2 products.
