If you have to rub it off when applying by hand that is a sure sign that you are putting it on too heavy.What Steve said. That's the only way I apply it anymore. It saves so much time and IMO does a much more thorough job of getting the sealant where it needs to go. Comes off with a simple wipe instead of having to rub it off.

I prefer to do it by hand because I think I have better control of how much is going on.
PC is defiantly faster but I'm not so sure about better.
I applied my LSP by hand for 50 years before I bought a PC probably won't ever change.![]()

Is an microfiber applicator pad good enough to apply way?
Then why not use it on a DA (duel action) on 1,2,or 3 it sticks well to the Velcro, less expensive to replace and cleaning is non existent just toss-em what I do watch for is what I call "Tiger stripping" where the edges of the pads running low on LSP.
