Shelf life foor PB's products?

Just curious if there is a shelf life for any of these products. I think I have had my bottle of SSR1 for about 5 years, SSR2 and 2.5 for about 4-5 years, and PP for 5 years (almost gone though). I still have a decent amount of the 2 and 2.5 since I only do 2 cars (mine and the wife's). SSR1 is running out since I use that more regularly.

I was thinking of getting some APC and BnB gallons. Should last me a year or 2 at the rate I use them (due to lack of time to wash cars anymore....). Any issues with having them that long? All of my products are stored in a garage (unconditioned, but it is a townhouse so it never gets colder than 40 or so in there), or if there is room I store them inside in our coat closet.

Forgot to add that I have also had some Trim Restorer for a loooong time (maybe 6 years...). Still seems to work pretty good though!
 
Steve as AKA Poorboy can give you more specific info but it depends on how it was stored.
General rule is 5 years but I have stuff older than that and it is good but I keep mine where it never gets hot or cold.

If you don't allow it to go below 50F it will last 5 years easy.
I did notice my PB-PP separated while sitting on the shelf and I had to shake the hell out of it but it still worked.

If you allow it to freeze or live where it is subjected to 90+ temps I would say you can expect a much shorter shelf life.
 
there are a lot of variables but on average I would say :hmmm: 3-5 years on polishes

I have dressings and QD's that are much older than that and still use some of the original bottles of Spray and Wipe.
 
Guess I'll be ordering PP,PwC,SSR1,SSR2,and SSR2.5 soon. What about your sealants?:passout:

like i said there are too many variables ... how and where it it stored .. if the bottle was left open for long periods of time while using, was it left in the sun etc... my rule of thumb is ..if you shake it and it looks like it did when it was new then it's still good to go .. if there is abnormal separation after shaking then toss it, whether it's a year or 8 years ...;)
