Can you use black hole over a seleant???

yeah it'll still help.

you could even do a couple of coats.

since it's acrylic, it will work and bond

Re: Can you use black hole over a sealant???

I have used a glaze over sealant at car shows.
Fortunately it happens rarely but while cleaning at a show if I create a small swirl I can't correct it at the show so I use glaze to hide it.

It will last more than long enough to get it judged then when I get home I can correct it.

acrylic?

Are you sure of that?

Typically glazes are meant to be applied in place of sealants for show cars. It is common also to apply a glaze before a sealant to hide rather than remove imperfections, but IMO it should not be added on top of a sealant.

I believe Black Hole has cleaning ability which would most likely compromise the sealant.

I have never used the Black Hole so don't know about it but I have a glaze from Chemical Guys and it is acrylic and they claim it will last for a few weeks but I can not verify that because I redo my car so often that I never know how long it will last.

Some day I plan on trying BH but before I do that I'm going to use up several other glazes that I have on hand.

Well it's definately not an oily glaze. Maybe I didn't make myself claer but I assumed that the poster would put some sort of lsp on it after glazing.

It does have some cleaning ability, but in my experience its pad dependant. I have put it over a sealant and then added wax of sealant over top of it. Worked fine.

As evidence, here is a thread I made after the dealer washed my car. I did not strip the car. Just bh and then lsp.
