Welcome to DC Trakpak! Yeah newsprint is an "old school" solution for glass cleaning/polishing. Just too messy for me. As for cleaning your glasses, if they are cheap-o gonna throw them away or lose them shortly, I guess that could be an option, though a poor one IMO. But since my lenses are coated and relatively expensive and newsprint contains wood fiber, no way would it come close to mine.
This is one area where the new and improved is not just new, but really improved. Try some, I thing you'll be convinced.
So you just let me be confrontational and negative, eh ??? (shout out to my Canadian buddyI read this thread and was going to answer the same way. I thought about it a little longer and decided that I'm sure it seems as if sometimes the only thing I say is confrontational or negative. I opted not to post at the time but this is exactly my feeling. Newspaper has no place around glasses that aren't really glass or glass that is coated. Thanks for speaking my mind.![]()

today newspaper ink is like vegtable oil- not the old school stuff- like actual ink per se- They qwit using ink along time ago. I use microfiber 98% of the time but old/new(FREE) NWSpaper on my OUTSIDE glass and it looks like new money everytime- just my 2 cents. I guess you all do so many cars-per week or day-its not feasible to fool with- its not nearly as qwik as grabbing a MF towel but it works great for me- with zero mess for me- but only on the outside for obvious reasons. It was just a cost effective alternative 4 u guyz making $$$$. Thank you all for your comments. if you can find it free.

I've used huck towels forever. I love them. If there are new, they should be washed to "break them in".
What do you suggest to wash these huck towels with?
