hey guysi htink my problem is when im polishing isi m using to big of a pad im using a 6.5 instead of the 5.5 the machine tells you to use

It could be that and how much pressure you are putting on the surface, meaning if you let the weight of the machine rest on the surface that's to much. You need to lift it so that it gets a good spinning action

I think a 5.5" pad on the PC will definitely help. You may even want to look into the smaller backplate and the 4" pads. You can get some good correction out of the smaller pads.

You could also wait 8 days, then learn properly instaed of guessing at every problem.

Just a thought.

What is your current process? Machine, polish, polish time, machine speed, pressure, etc.

I assume you are talking about the PC. Even if it's a 5" backing plate a pad size of 5.5" or 6.5" should not make a difference in the polishing process.

I use nothing but LC 6.5 pads on my PC woks pretty good for me.

Yep, I need smaller pads too.

Wonder how long it will take someone to yell at me for not getting the wax residue from under the spoiler. :notme:
