ONR type product.

I have almost reached the bottom of my ONR . I like the rinseless wash concept and use it on most all details and have been very happy .

Any other suggestions for a similar type of product to try next ??

The Detailer's Pride Rinseless Wash & Gloss seems to be a good product. I can't say that it is any better than ONR, but it does seem to work every bit as good. I have and use both as rinseless washes.

I've been VERY happy with my DP rinseless. I don't use it very often as a true rinseless wash, but I do use it often as a "water softener" for normal 2BM washing, and as clay lube. I also spritz the car with it when drying to prevent water spotting, and it gives a VERY nice gloss. I haven't detailed my car since March, and when I washed it Sunday using the 2BM with a little DP in the bucket and some spritzing, it looks like it was recently waxed. Excellent reflectivity and nice gloss.

Highly recommended and the price is nice too.

Chemical Guys recently released a rinseless wash, it is not on their web site though??? I just received a bottle of it but have not yet used it.

The S&W is a great product, but as you know, it is a waterless wash, not a rinseless wash.
Totally different concept and process to me.

I understand that but what's the end result?

A clean car that requires no water...right?

am I missing something here?

Using Spray and Wipe for a car that is not to bad is fine. If you try to clean a car with Spray and Wipe that that hasn't been washed for a while, you are going to go through a ton of Spray and Wipe and and ton of micro fiber towels. Might as well save yourself some time and money and just do a rinseless wash or a traditional wash.

Just got a sample of the DuraGloss rinseless wash , can't wait to give it a shot .

:hmmm: Did you mean their #921 Fast Clean and Shine? Their cleaning QD? I didn't see any rinseless wash listed.
Or do they have a "not yet released to the public" new wash?

Or did you mean Detailer's Pride?

I am totally lost on anything pertaining to this topic. Why would anyone want to rub with a cloth anything on paint period.:inspector:

Some have said here that it requires lots of product and microfiber, TRUE?

Can I assume that dirt is not dirt in every state? I know that even after a day of rain I would never opt for anything but soap and water here. That said I have never tried a waterless product ever.I will order some just to see what I am missing and give a review.

Next question is 1 gallon enough to do how many large suvs?

What is the cost per vehicle doing this vs soap and water? I do my own stuff but time is a factor here as well in most cases. If I gotta launder several microfiber towels at the end that also takes time.Again this is a daily driver type of situation not a 1 day a month driving miss daisy.

I am new not that smart:huh: and would like to know what the hype is all about.

Thanks guys...:howdy

Poorboy's Spray & Wipe isn't supposed to be "rubbed" on your paint. It's wipe, not rub.
IMO, it's not for all conditions and possibly not for all people.
A few years back, I wouldn't have used a waterless wash it you gave it to me. Now, S&W is a product that I buy by the gallon.

The amount of products and toweling depends on how dirty the vehicle is. You shouldn't need more than a few ounces if the SUV has only a few days dust settled on it.

If you don't think you'll use this after your initial test, why not go with just a 16 oz. bottle? A gallon can do lots of washes.

Again, depends on how dirty the vehicle is.

I haven't figured that out. Your shampoo may cost more than mine.

I don't see how a few towels would be a big time factor unless you hand wash your towels. One time factor that might be of benefit to you is that you can use S+W anywhere, so if you were to take someone shopping, but didn't want to follow them into the stores, you could clean your car in the parking lot, thus saving you time. :bigups
