Finally I have a job

GREAT NEWS!!!:yay:yay

Glad to hear you landed something in your field.

So many people have to settle for much less.

Wife has been out of work since 02/09 and still nothing solid, even from agency work or other linked in references. It's tuff as nails out there.

Years ago, I was striping parking lots (painting lines) for several years until the market changed for the better.

One thing is never give up!

Regards and best wishes!

The only thing I have found here in Charlotte were lots of crazy jobs. Be a manger in 6 months, but first stand on the street selling fake perfume for $35. Sell life insurance to the working class, the single mom, the families living pay check to paycheck, $52 a month for a $50k life insurance? For a family living paycheck to paycheck? I don't think so.
Scott the words I speak to the One I believe died for me is what helped me get the job I did. Did I just sit back and ask and do nothing else? No, I did what I was suppose to do and pray, apply to places and keep up on things. The manager at the dealer told me I have the Auto experience but nothing as a service writer, but yet he sees something in me that makes him want me there. I know for sure that what he sees in me is not just me but that is the answers to my prayers. I am not looking for a religious debate. I am one that believes in what I believe and anyone else is entitled to have their own beliefs in their own god or no god at all. The joy of being a human is free choice.

It was your determination that got you that job, not a bunch of words uttered, muttered or thought.

Scott, I do not understand why you would make such a comment. Sal obviously has some deeply held beliefs that bring him hope and comfort. What do you gain by telling him that his religion is irrelevant?

I'm a lifelong Christian, but I've also found much meaning in the writings of Thich Nhat Hanh, the Dalai Lama and Jack Kornfeld, whom you quote in your signature. I doubt that these religious men would condone dismissing a friend's personal philosophy.

(they'd probably frown on arguing on the internet too, but, hey)

Seriously, man, what's up?
